Worship

We believe that worshipping the Holy Trinity together is absolutely central to the Christian life. Here's what you can expect for our Sunday morning worship service.

Sunday Worship Service

What time is this worship service?

This worship service is at 10:30 am in the sanctuary

How long is this worship service?

Services last about an hour.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Many in the congregation dress casually.

What about my kids?

A loving nursery is provided for children ages birth through 3. Children ages 4 through 5th grade join their parents in the sanctuary for the first part of the service. During the service Pastor Scott will invite them to the front of the sanctuary, where he will give a brief lesson and pray for the kids. The kids will then go to their own time of worship.

We include children in the first part of our service because we believe they are a valuable part of our congregation. We also want to give families the opportunity to worship together.

What is this worship service like?

We want our worship services to be centered on God. We believe that worship is not about being entertained but about listening and responding to God. We put a high priority on listening to God through the reading and preaching of Scripture. Our pastors work hard to prepare sermons that are biblical, engaging, and thoughtful. We provide opportunities for people to respond to God through music, prayer, responsive readings, the creeds, and regular communion. We do things that Christians have done throughout the ages but we also incorporate newer forms of music and media into our worship.
